I am looking for a Chevy or GMC 2500HD Duramax Crew Cab and will consider trades, if you have something let me know !! Jason
Selling the SS to go back to a 2500 HD Crew Cab. I really love the truck. And I had big plans for it. It has performed flawless and I don't really like to see it go. But I need more room for the kids and my 4-wheeler and gear...So here it is:All options besides moon roof
XM and Onstar
Black...Best color..
Belltech 2" front lowering spindles
Belltech 2" lowering shackles
Belltech Nitro front shocks
Toxic rear shocks
Flowmaster Cat back muffler with Gibson Stainless tips (dual rear angled exit)
Volant CAI
Be-Cool 160 T-stat
'05 Efans with Nelson harness
Nelson 91 octane tune
Goodmark Steel cowl hood
Stainless Works grille (5 piece)
Access Roll up tonneau cover
HID lighting (6k)
Recon 3rd brake light
New Goodyear LS2 tires (400 miles on them)
I've used Royal Purple sythethic since I purchased the truck. All the above items were put on this year with the exception of the tonneau cover and the exhaust. Truck looks awesome and runs perfect. I am planning on getting pics this week and will post them. I will deliver truck within 100 miles of Des Moines. Im asking $24,000 or offer, but with stock SS's being sold around the metro for around $24,000 im not able to move much. I need to make payoff. I also have the Gm Gold protection plan, warranty coverage until around 80,000 miles or 2008 that I believe is transferable to new owner (Still looking for paperwork on that, so Im not positive) Also comes with stock hood and exhaust. Anyone interested please post here or email.

I really like Malco Products, which is usually sold to most dealerships in our area and all the detail shops.
Malco
- Red Thunder (mix 50/50 with water, degrease engine, clean door jams, wheel wells and also used as carpet cleaner
- Blue Blazes (tire coat)
- Bumper Bright (heavy silicone for bumper plastic and rubber)
- Buff Lite II (light buffing compound for fine scratches and oxidation)
But recently I have also started using Zaino Brothers, which is awesome, to say the least. I purchased a kit, which contained several wax and cleaner steps, along with claybar.

Thank You !! Seems though the older I get, the more im spending on the house than the truck...YIKES...

Im selling my set btw if anyone is interested....$75 for the pair plus 2 sets of bulbs....

I just noticed a puddle running from under my truck. As I took a closer look, I noticed that water or something was leaking from the bottom of the rear of the muffler... Any ideas?
Several newer Chevys I have owned have done the same thing, it's a condensation vent to drain the muffler...

Are you hearing any odd noises from the engine..With that low of oil pressure (if it really is that low, and that gauge is not reading incorrectly) you would hear some noise from the engine, chattering or a knocking noise..
-
They should'nt have anything to say about it....What else do you have for mods?
-
Well I'm afraid for you, since the original oil pump looks fine - the issue could be a spun cam bearing.
Mr. P.
Im with Mr. P on this....Im not familiar with internals on this new of a engine, but on the older ones, I would be checking oil pickup tube, distributor sleeve and main bearings...But im sure the LS1's are a *little* different than the big blocks im familiar with....
Sorry your having so much trouble !!

Frank-Are we supposed to contact you yet on pricing or are you waiting for the list to be finalized ?? Thanks, Jason

Go to EBay and get the "2 inch" Silverado drop shackles for the rear. Several hits come up searching for "Silverado shackle" in title and description. I put 2 inch in quotes because the actual drop is closer to 1.5 to 1.75 rather than a full 2 inches. To keep ride quality in the rear, remove the bracket from the rear bumpstops and attach the bumpstops directly to the frame.
Bilstein shocks all around will give an excellent ride compared to stock with this setup.
Cut the bumpstops on the front...I've got the Belltech spindles and it would have hit unless I raised the front up...And I thought the rear would have been ok also, but after installing Toxic shocks on the rear, it now hits also, so I need to trim them up or do SS_bnoon_SS's suggestion, which is probably what will happen...

Our detail shop would use spray carb cleaner on a towel and blot at the area to soften the overspray up. You possibly will need to buff the area out when finished....
-
I've got the muffler and tailpipe with tip for sale, but unless your close to Des Moines, Ia, won't do you much good...$50.00 if you are for the whole thing...
-
Looks good !! Check out Stylinconcepts.com for some of the appearance products and Summitracing.com for good prices also...Good Luck !!

Older topic, but I just installed the Belltech Nitro Actives last night and they are great (course I still had the originals on with 42000 miles)....Installing the Toxic's tonight, will post results...Jason
Installed the Toxic shocks last night and the truck rides very nice, Toxic's are a little stiff, but still very nice...
