  1. Why don't you call us and ask us to send you another one as a replacement? The quickest resolution is going to be, call and get another one, not post that nobody cares! PM me if I can help, if you got it figured out, great!
  2. Danny, you know darn well you're only telling half the story. Since you brought it up, I have to reply. Just a few things you left out: you said you would come get the core when you came down for a retune. I tried to get a customer to take it to you and he was in the Dallas area, but your words were "I live 45mins from Dallas and that's not gonna help me at all". You never asked us to send the core back until you sold your truck, not at the time of purchase. I would have charged the customer a shipping fee if I knew all this was going to happen. If you said we were required to send a core back, we would have sent it to you, but there was no mention of it, ever, until you sold your truck. That's why it's taken a year to get your core back, not because you've been asking for a year. We've installed dozens of transmissions and always send the core back. Trust me, I don't want your transmission sitting here either taking up room. Also, I didn't realize you were putting yourself out to build this customer a trans. If I knew you were going to throw a fit about it, I would have just used FLT like I always do. We had an agreement and you're the one who changed how things were going to be handled, not me. This transmission is trash to me, I'm not keeping it out of spite, it's sitting here because you said you would come get it, I'd rather it not be here.
  3. All I can say is, "awesome"!!! The owner of the Trick Performance Turbo truck and I went out to the track tonight and ran a best!! To recap: '06 Sierra ext cab, 4x4, 33" tires, toolbox, full street trim, transgo shiftkit, 42lb injectors, upgraded fuel pump, Trick Performance front mount turbo 5psi, Nelson installed and tuned. The truck ran a 13.77 @98.88 mph!!!! 60' was 2.08x If anyone is considering a forced induction kit for their truck, this kit is blowing away any kit on the market! I don't think any other kit can claim 3.1 secs drop in the 1/4 mile with 5psi, to my knowledge. The turbo allows a full boost launch with the stock converter. Once the holidays pass, we'll try to head back out there and run a 13.5sec, I know the truck is capable of it. We'll swap some stock tires on it (these heavy 33's are probably robbing about 50hp), remove all the xmas presents in the back, lol, and see what happens. Tonight was 68deg and high humidity. The intercooler did it's job, intake temps were about 74degs in the stages lanes, about 84deg after a test launch and 72degs at the end of the 1/4 mile. We'll have a video posted tomorrow. It shows us staying up with an older motorcycle, beating a transam and a few other cars. This kit has surpassed any of my expectations and beyond, thanks for listening, allen
  4. Hey guys, the first official truck with the new front mount turbo is on the road and hauling ass!! Just a quick recap, this is the new front mount turbo. The test truck is an '06 Sierra, ext cab, 5.3l, 4x4, with 33inch tires. This turbo setup is a daily driver's dream; as well as the racer! The truck is still very responsive and drives like a nicely tuned, stock truck, until you ease on the throttle. Then, boost is pretty much instant and the truck keeps pulling until the throttle is lifted. Speaking of boost, I'm sure most of you want to know how easy boost comes in? How does full boost at 2000rpms sound when climbing a hill in fourth gear. That's great for towing. Also, it will build 5psi with a stock converter in a 2wd while brake stalling it. There is really no need for a higher stall converter with this kit since boost is so easily produced. Yes, that's 5psi for a launch! Once the truck is launched, the tires will go up in smoke through first and second. Put the truck in 4wd, for those who have it, and it'll snap your neck back and take off. The turbo we chose was a 62-1 turbonectics with a .96 exhaust housing. This seems to work perfectly for a 5.3l, I'm sure it would be at home on a 4.8L. For those with a 6.0L, I think a T70 or T76 would be just right, we'll have one of those coming up in the next month or so. The intercooler is working great. It's full 3" in and out. The intake temps were about 1-5 degs higher than outside temps during city and highway driving. Under full boost, through 1-2-3 it was about 20-25degs higher, never going over 82degs during about 50deg weather. We'll post up some before and after track results and before and after dyno results next week. We're still proving the kit and fine tuning the truck before we put it on the dyno. I'll try to post a vid of the gauges showing 5psi while brake torquing it and a nice burn out.
