Wow you post whore you need to slow down. I have been here longer and not even 3K. I doubt I'll make it to 4k. My ss just sits in pieces. sad.

Well all I have been around is the Polaris rzr. the yamaha look like a mix of the wild cat and a raptor. I have owned many raptors and yfz and really like them. but think the yamaha sxs is ugly. sure its got some sweet stuff but I couldn't by it just because of the looks. im sure they will look better with a cage and other add ons but stock im not feeling it.

IMO its ugly. Im a yamaha sports quad fan own a few. but there sxs is ugly. RZR for me. Ill be buy a 4 seater 1xp soon. might wait for the release of the turbo 4 seater 1k

Is the motor in the truck or out? I had this happen once before with a motor that was out. I ended up having to drill it out. it was a pain. then had to drop the pan to clean it all. If its in the truck I have no clue how its going to work getting it out. is there anything at the top to possibly grab on to? or weld something to.
-
she going to let you sell it?

Wow this is a bad thread if your some what hungry. I have always been interested in cooking on a grill or smoker but finding the time is hard. Of course we use a propane grill for basic stuff but nothing like this. maybe I'll have to find the time.

I cut mine up and had them re welded but I have heard of guys running the ones out of a 2500hd. but you probably want to double check and make sure the driveshafts came out of a shortbox x-cab. as I'm sure ones from a crewcab long box are different lengths also different lengths if it was out of a regular cab long boxs. but yet guy have used them right out of a 2500 truck. -

Yeah know problem. Was that number of any help? -
Bought mine from my local salvage yard. had 109k on it. paid $400.00 had a small crack around one of the bolt holes. had it welded for $65.00. ran it for awhile with zero issues, still have it but its out of the truck. but will go back in. it came out of a 2004 chevy express van 2500HD with a 6.0 in it.

Do you have his number? I once got ahold of time on this number. 586.473.6538 tim or justin. Pretty sure it was his salvage yard. Hope that helps. -
Nice looking ride. I've always liked BMW. Test drove a few just never found the right one. Yours looks good in stock form.

really this swap is cake with the right stuff. I had my truck up and running with only taking a good parts of a saturday.

Is it the jesse james one or the the regular one. If its the regular one I'll take it. PM sent with my cell to send pictures.

Gaskets are cake. glad thats all it was. I would not have replaced it with stock bolts. i would have atleast got the Arp bolts. as the factory bolts to torque to yeild bolts so they are not reuasble. On my LS2 I went with the arp and glad Im did because it only lasted 4k miles and I have to open the motor back up but wont have to buy new headbolts again.

Not that I even tow to often. but knowing I can tow what I need is nice instead of always borrowing a truck from work. Plus the fuel milage is pretty decent for a lifted truck. with my old 2006 crewcab with the 6.0 I could'nt get anything better then 9.6 MPG on 33s . with this truck on 33's it gets 13.9 intown all stock. it you delete the DEF and DPF with a intake, programmer and exhaust guys get like 15-17 not to bad for a boat. lol
