  1. So did it sell with or without the blower? I know you have it up for sale by itself.
  2. Hmmm weird. I was wondering thats nice. at first I was like WTH where will is go. seems to sit a bit higher. how come you went with a eforce over other blowers? just wondering.
  3. Looking good. I had a buddy install one of these on a 6.0 GTO had to do a few things to get it to fit but it ran good once done. I must ask how are they doing the Alt? since the blower clearly sits right were it needs to go? I'mconfused how that will be routed. but nice work.
  4. It would be a blast. But unless you lived really close to sand it would be way to much to spend for a toy that you didn't get to use much. I gave been to the sand dunes a fee time the past couple years and its a blast. Heck guys even get carried away with there side by sides anymore.it easy to make rails street legal here.
  5. I like it. its different it stands out from the rest. I'd rock it.
  6. not only money but look at the weight of these trucks. its easier to make a little car go that fast. not a heavy pig truck.
  7. Wow those fender have to go. I'm not crazy about the corvette tail light rollpan either. but stupid low miles.
  8. the new Denali are Sick. My next truck will be a Duramax or a Gas Denali. your truck looks great. I really like those factory wheels. not that the Denali 20"s are bad. I just like those better. remove the Door molding and it will really clean it up. does it have a silver pinstripe?
  9. After I primed the fuse box cover I laid a few coats of silver down. after the silver dried I had some SS logo's cut out in sticker material. I laid the SS logo's down on top of the silver. I then added a few light coats of arrival blue over the cover. after those dried I peeled off the SS logo's the added a few more coat of arrival blue over the entire cover. after the SS logo's were to the shade I wanted I then cleared the covers. I could have ghosted them in a bit more but I wanted them to stand out a bit but not to much. I was just messing around and wanted to see how it would turnout. I just went and got a spare cover from the junkyard for a few dollars. something like this then I laid blue down. then peeled the SS logo's I laid down then added a few more coats of blue, to kind of ghost it in.
  10. heres mine RATTLE CANED. but don't rattle can things ^^^^ you must only do it legit with a HVLP spray gun and air compressor and mix your own paint..
  11. Maybe some people Don't have the air compressor or paint gun's to be able to just go out in their garage/shop and paint stuff. Thats their choice. I have paint matched plenty of things with rattle canning it and never had any issue with it chipping or scratching easy. Everybody has different ways of doing things.
  12. I'd do an adhesion promoter for sure. I have always used bulldog adhesion promoter and never had an issues, I lightly sanded my engine covers first then did adhesion promoter, primer base coat and them a lot of clear. I laid a few coats of primer really thick and they came out pretty smooth. not rough at all.
  13. More like hes yelling Merica!!! while going through the mud pit.
  14. Welcome for Billings Mt. Whats more info on the truck? bone stock as it sits now? what color and how many miles.
  15. I think the most important thing todo is find out what your over all goal with the truck is and start there.. it will save you $$$. get the supporting mods you will need to make the best power. are you planning on going boost at any point? or leaving it N/A
  16. Like stated above a lot of it has todo with how it was maintained. Since I do all of my own work if something happens to my vehicle. buying a higher milage doesn't effect me if the price is right. also depends on the mod's done to the truck. I bought a 2001 yukon the had 323K miles on it with the factory motor. it has turned out to be a very good rig for what I have into it. we just took a 1200 trip with it we had 6 people in it loaded with all our stuff for vacation and it did great not a single issue. the guy I bought it from was very good with how it was maintained. it had over $15000.00 worth of receipt's in the glove box of what all he had done to it. one owner vehicle. If your not a do it your selfer then i'd pay a good shop to look it over. here it is pretty cheap to have them check it over.
  17. Go turbo and don't look back. either way it will be a beast.
  18. I'd vote yes because it was only 15* here today when I left for work. but I don't wear them but I'm sure other members would buy them.
  19. Why get the TBSS wheels. all the TBSS have them then you'd be back at square one if you wanted to stand out and be different.
  20. Its bad enough its a lifted SS. but why the dumb ass Cali lean. that stuff looks so stupid. if your going to lift it then lift the whole damn thing not just the front.
  21. why not rep's they look good. I have not seen one vehicle in my town with 22"s or larger reps. But heck there is not very many SSS in my neck of the woods. Lol I don't have a set but I like them. at some point I'll probably get a set of 22s.
  22. Wow crazy what just the brake ducts and TBSS rep wheels did. looking good. nice work.
  23. wow yeah for what they were new I would have though they would have been faster stock. heck a stock SS was running a hair faster up here.
  24. I was just going to say. if he loads it up it will blow the tires off. thats what happened to the SRT10 I raced. I hooked even with brake boosting it and launched out of the hole hard.
  25. My SS rolled one hard. I was running 7lbs of boost and loaded it up from a DIG. it wasnt even a race. it looked so slow. No joke you will roll him if he is truly stock. the dude was pissed. we raced for $100.00 because he was running his month on how slow SS were. he is the one who said he only races for money and said he would be glad to take my $100.00 after the race he wanted a another race. I told him for $200.00 I'd race again. he threw the $100.00 bill out the window and drove off.
