    I have an 09' Ram crew cab for work and let me tell you it rides like a Cadillac... I know it won't carry as much as my 08 Sierra but I'd take that new Dodge ride over the GM's any day.. 90mph on the hwy feels like you're riding on air.. This one has the 4.7 with 310hp and it kicked another guys 08 Silverado's ass from a stop to the tune of about 4 cars by 80.. No lie.. I wonder what those Rams with the new hemi will run? My friend's 08 Sierra Denali with a CAi/Tune feels like a 13.7 truck to me.. Should be a good run.

    $1500 in mods rarely gets you to 12.6 unless you spray :)

     

    I dont know what you SSS guys weigh but my race weight is still over 5000#

     

    Check out my sig. No way I can do a 12.6. I will be happy when I hit 12.99.

     

    even with the TC?? you guys (SSS) need to watch out for the new Tundras.. forget the TBSS's lol...

     

    hearing they're running high 13's with 1.9 60's (short bed 2WD's) have read on other forums about guys running low-mid 14's with Ext/Dbl cabs, 4x4... pretty insane..

    yeah those are fast,awd.I think the 08 models are getting bumped up more hp 500.

     

    shame you can't tune them though, they leave alot on the table... and I don't think you'll see 500hp in one anytime soon.. especially with Daimler-Chryslers current situation being unknown.. (and $4.00+ gas prices a couple months away)

    I had an LS4 equipped GrandPrix GXP (05') it was quite fast for stock.. here's a slip mind you in 29* weather it spun at 1/4 throttle out to the 60' mark before I could even drop the hammer and STILL went this quick.. but in the street if you're over-anxious they can light the tires a good 150' at even 3/4 throttle (done it, on purpose, even w/o a locking diff it blew both 255's off the rims) so you can hook and be gone before they know it.. btw the Monte/Impala SS has a 3.23 gear the GrandPrix has a 2.93, so they should technically be quicker.

     

    mine was car #102 right lane (left lane was an 05' Acura TL)

    I just got the new issue of Truck Trend magazine last night. They tested the new Tundra. Get this...0-60 in 6.0! 1/4 mile in 14.6! Holy sh$%! This same magazine tested the AWD SS 6.6 seconds 0-60 and with a 14.9 quarter (not same issue). That's a pretty substantial difference. They are still not very good looking trucks, but very capable.

    My aunt bought the Saab SUV, like the buick and TB with the V8 and they love it...Saab always has good lease options for some reason. I think its AWD too.

    interesting? someone else brought up the 97x... I will have to check Saab out then, they are nice looking and have an ALL aluminum front end.

     

    a Dam Envoy Denali is $560/mo! loaded Envoy SLT is $479 & a FWD stripper Acadia is $479... GM, you're killin me..

    I would be willing to bet thats the lowest trim level and possibly even 2WD for that price. Leather and 4x4 with descent options will be more.

     

    no doubt... I am contemplating another TBSS or a Rainier, they are treating the new Tahoes/Yukons like they are the greates thing since sliced bread.. you know as soon as Gas goes back up in the summer again they will be giving them away :banghead: .. I vcan't wait that long.. quoted $609/39mos on a 4WD Tahoe sticker of $43,000+.. ridiculous... what's the residual? 40%?? or the loan rate must be insanely high..

    I was quoted $600mo lease for a TBSS...not every car is attractive on a lease. A co-worker was quoted on a new Tahoe at what you were quoted on about two weeks ago if that helps you. Pricing is regionalized anyways, what you can get in Cali, you wont get on the Eastcoast etc...

     

    well I guess that's good, that it was only a couple weeks ago? this drives me crazy.. now the finance on leasing is up to 6.5+%!! I had 2.5% on my Envoy that's going back and now I'm up against this outrageous finance rate for leasing.. they have 0% for 60mos, but I don't want to buy ANYTHING.. I hate anything more than 3yrs old you know?

    Anyone know what they're going for? I am looking at them now.. I was quoted 4 or 5 mos ago Zero down tax in pymnt, $565 39mo 10k yr all exc 20"wheels (LT3 loaded) with them paying first month.. are they still going for that or what? My guy wont even quote me a price right now he says the current lease deal is horrible... I need to buy by 3/15 (GM card extra $1000 expires, have $2400+ already)

    Nope, I run 87 in mine, no spark knock problems.

     

    yeah, I can run 87 too and see 0 KR, but it is now using the low octane table... worth it to run the better gas... if it calls for 91, run 91 if it's tuned and it's a 93 tune, do that, try not to run over what you need or you'll lose a couple HP.. :crazy:

    A guy I work with overheard me talking to a friend that has a 450FWHP SRT4 Neon and says "My titan is pretty quick" "I think I'll give you a run" mind you this was after I ran 13.49 BoneStock in March.. what's with these Nissan Titan owners? I understand the SS guys, the Dam name implies it's a "Sport" Model... but why buy a Titan and then compare it to a Lighting or SS?? never knew these Full size Nissan Pickups were adored by so many.. God Bless you guys, I guess I should start watching out for the "killer" Pathfinders then ha?? :crackup:

    That's great, Congrats on that Brick moving that fast, I thought I get looksfrom guys in C6's after I beat them down the track, I can't imagine what they ask you :flag: !!!
