  1. Sorry to say but you'll never get it. It had to be sent to the original owner when the truck was bought.

I am the original owner of my truck, and the dealer I bought mine from screwed up the address and I never got mine. I spent hours on the phone trying to track mine down. Of all the calls I made and different people I spoke to, only once did I get someone who was helpful. I was able to speak with a woman who was able to tell me my number. At that time, GM was only printing Certificates on a cycle, cant remember if it was monthly or quarterly, and she said I would have to wait xx number of days/months and mine would be printed. I was ecstatic, however I never got one in the mail. I tried to contact her or someone else numerous times after that and got nowhere.

I bought mine new in dec of 2006 and by the time I started searching in 2007, nobody had a clue what I was talking about. I'm guessing 10 years later you prolly have a snowballs chance in hell of even finding someone who knows the certificates were actually printed

  2. Yeah I have two optima red tops that are both 6+ years old, but like i said, my stock battery was at 7 years, and still holding a charge but just weak, and i have an ac delco from 2003 still in one of my other trucks. now that has been keep on the tender its whole life, but im still amazed after 10 years.

Plus. a red top was like $175 and a yellow was like $215. The stock delco was $78 and the upgrade $90. really hard to argue with the price

  3. So after 7 years my stock ac delco is finally getting weak. Doesnt help my truck sits for weeks on end sometimes months without starting.

So which battery is everyone having the best luck with? I search but a lot of the threads were several years old.

Right now I'm between putting a stock delco back in it, or an optima yellow top. I know people have mixed feelings about optimas, but i have two red tops still going strong after 6 years.

  4. the car not the truck:

Tossing around the idea of selling this. I wanted this car so I could have both the ISS truck and car, however all this car does is sit. its a 2004 Monte Carlo SS Dale Earnhardt edition, number 3,754 of 4,000. all the bells and whistles, factory supercharged. 50k miles. stored in a climate controlled garage under a car cover

My mother bought the car brand new, i got it off her and it has sat under the car cover the majority of the time i owned it. Car just isnt for me.

Car has never been modified. 100% bone stock its whole life. running mobil 1 synthetic. $10k not in any big hurry to sell, just tossing around ideas to clear up some garage space for a new DD

  5. ok not my SS but my Duramax, same Bose System though:

my drivers door speaker seems to have quit working. For now, I'd like to just buy a set of aftermarket speakers I can toss in the doors and be done with it. I looked into new bose speakers, and seems like i can get a pair of new aftermarket ones for the price of one new bose

I dont know much about audio. I know the speakers are 6 1/2", and from what i read online i think i need "component speakers", not coaxial correct?

    What speakers do I need?

i found these on amazon, and someone specifically mentions replacing bose speakers in a sierra:

    http://www.amazon.com/JBL-GTO628-6-5-Inch-2-Way-Loudspeaker/dp/B003KN2TEY/ref=sr_1_25?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1363004708&sr=1-25&keywords=6+1%2F2+component+speakers

    any thoughts on those?

  6. I'm using a 12 volt 5w diode I got off eBay currently. I started with the RadioShack diode but ordered these when it didn't work.

I checked them again this morning going to work. I can start the truck and they work. Soon as I start driving the highs don't turn off. Sometimes if I switch from highs to lows and they don't go out I just leave the headlight switch on lows they may go out they may not.

  7. Tbss engine cover. Thought it fit our trucks but it doesn't. Just want what I paid $100/shipped

Also have a set of light covers. Good shape. I'd say 8.5/10. Not show perfect but damn near it. I buffed them out with plastic polish. Still look great just thinking of changing things up a bit. $65/shipped
