Dylan06SS Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 I was just waiting for that thing to spin out of control and cut someones head off.... but sadly... I was disappointed.
04CHASE Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 wow how can it do that ,does the blade spin the other way or something? , thats some crazy shite.
deve8edsilv Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 wow how can it do that ,does the blade spin the other way or something? , thats some crazy shite. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I believe it is negative yaw, that is why it can hover upside down.
TBSS Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 I think that's just a shorter version of this file.
erice Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 I was ready for some out of control carnage at the begining. That is pretty impressive flying though.
SSplaytoy Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 Cool...... Seems fake with it flying upside, if my physics are wrong it should want to fly into the ground.
ouredss Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 No it's all real The blades are set to produce negative pitch which gives the helicopter the lift . A typical pitch range would be +11 deg to -11 deg with full throttle at both ranges of the joystick movement.
m396 #00-011 Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 Dcairns needs to learn those tricks with his glider.....
Xero Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 I was just waiting for that thing to spin out of control and cut someones head off.... but sadly... I was disappointed. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i was thinking the exact same thing!!!
Xero Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 but as for the thing spinning out of comtrol, it if didnt have a rear prop it would spin in the direction the top props are spinning, the rear prop corrects the spin that the top propl produces on the helecopter, the slower/faster the side prop spind is the direction the thing goes. by the way thats some SERIOUS g;s that lil things pulling in those tight maneuvers
ChevySSandChevy8.1 Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 that thing is sweet and the guy controlling it really knows what he is doing.
Crazy Al Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 That was pretty sweet, I didn't know you could do all of that with a RC 'copter.
Aspentaylor Posted January 17, 2005 Report Posted January 17, 2005 That was so cool. wish i had the time to learn that!
