a1cmaw Posted January 8, 2005 Report Posted January 8, 2005 is there an easier way than smithl3's 6 hour version?
vtodd82 Posted January 8, 2005 Author Report Posted January 8, 2005 is there an easier way than smithl3's 6 hour version? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> no kidding, i just read his. i cant even imagine how it would take anywhere near 6 hours to do this. i think i will just cut them off and re weld them before i mess around with those bolts for hours like he says.
a1cmaw Posted January 8, 2005 Report Posted January 8, 2005 torch and a welder work wonders <{POST_SNAPBACK}> well the mention of a large screwdriver, slide hammer, crow bar, made me wonder if there was a way to gut them like i used to do on the 80's chevy trucks without even taking the thing off.

The cats are some seriously tenacious materials so the snake bit will bore a few holes in it, but you need something bigger to really move around in there and break it all free. I just figured the stock look would be better for the sake of inspections and people busting my balls. Doing it the way I wrote up about does no outside damage, she looks like the day I got it.
