Magicianelectrician Posted April 23, 2023 Report Share Posted April 23, 2023 After many late night hours searching online and finding nothing, I decided to do the R&D myself and finally have designed a kit for this. This set-up uses individually controllable RGB LEDs (3 per needle) which are assigned and controlled by an app on your Android or iPhone. Over 75 lighting effects that include streaming/chasing modes are preset into the controller. This cluster is from a 2005 Z71 Tahoe just to give you an idea. And these pics are with all backlighting turned off. Needle LEDs only. Bonus: the tach and speedo can be set-up to change color mid-sweep as well! I'm waiting for more parts to come in to do more, but just wanted to see if anyone here might be interested.
