nippy Posted January 12, 2005 Report Posted January 12, 2005 My friend just started a buisness here building these cars.he has a dealer liicense and buys them cheap...tricks them out and re-sells.He has clean taste and doesnt over do it to bad.His prior cars included a 935 DP Porsche drop top,Saleen mustang and a AMG Mercedes. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=31864
BigTsBadSS Posted January 12, 2005 Report Posted January 12, 2005 He did one hell of a job on that car. That thing came out real nice
Dylan06SS Posted January 12, 2005 Report Posted January 12, 2005 I can appreciate the time and effort spent on that its still WAY in the rice category! All hes missing is a 10' tall tri-level rear spoiler and a bunch of stickers. I do like the fact that he stuck w/ the theme... alot of idiots out there will bolt together a bodykit, wheels, tires, accessories, etc and none of it matches... at least he has the good taste to make sure it all looks like it belongs together. Tell your buddy good luck w/ the new business!
ChevySSandChevy8.1 Posted January 12, 2005 Report Posted January 12, 2005 A bit too ricey in my opinion, but the 350 isn't a bad car.
d_a_n_payne Posted January 12, 2005 Report Posted January 12, 2005 Wide body kits only look good on a VERY few cars. I dont think it fits the Z at all but the wheels kinda look good. Is the back one smaller or is the back end higher? I know its wider than the front one. I think he will get a good price for it.
m396 #00-011 Posted January 12, 2005 Report Posted January 12, 2005 Wheels look good, but that front nose kit, By looking at the pics, he need to make sure the paint matches a bit better. ;)
Dylan06SS Posted January 12, 2005 Report Posted January 12, 2005 By looking at the pics, he need to make sure the paint matches a bit better. ;) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I wasn't sure if I was the only one who thought that... looks like the clear wasn't shot very well or there wasn't enough coats of the white layed down... almost looks like a shallow paintjob... no depth on the bodywork.
m396 #00-011 Posted January 12, 2005 Report Posted January 12, 2005 i figured that was the bad lighting <{POST_SNAPBACK}> At first, I did too. But after looking at a few of the pics, it seems it's the paint. Sadly, it's typical of most. Overall, an A for effort (considering the clientel), but only a B for follow through.
zippy Posted January 12, 2005 Report Posted January 12, 2005 looks like he put alot of work into that ride. i could consider this as advertising, but i doubt anyone here would buy that...
