bigbl62 Posted January 13, 2005 Report Posted January 13, 2005 I was wondering if there is a cold air intake kit for a Radix s/c?
BenKey Posted January 13, 2005 Report Posted January 13, 2005 Not that I'm aware of, although they may recommend one. A stock box could turn out to be the best for a Radix. Check the results of the air boxes that CHP did testing with with their radix'd truck.
SSLink Posted January 13, 2005 Report Posted January 13, 2005 I know that the Radix kit includes a K&N drop-in filter to use with the stock airbox. This is what Magnuson reccommends.
Dylan06SS Posted January 13, 2005 Report Posted January 13, 2005 Testing should be done soon on the Outlaw kit... the weather finally cleared back up here so it shouldn't be too long before we can see some results.

zippy Posted January 13, 2005 Report Posted January 13, 2005 most kits can be adapted to run with the radix. i'd recomend waiting a month or so for the next bit of testing from chp...

That hasn't been done by anyone, but them - to date. Not to mention I believe they tested them in 1/4 mile runs. I would let their results guide your purchase. Any NA testing may not turn out the same.
bigbl62 Posted January 13, 2005 Author Report Posted January 13, 2005 who makes the outlaw intake? I cant find info on it. Someone told me that a k&N 77 series intake would work.
Dylan06SS Posted January 13, 2005 Report Posted January 13, 2005 OUTLAW INTAKE **I don't think the site has info on the system for our trucks yet since they are still beta testing.
