Yesterday, the Govt. releases its final report saying they we found NOTHING. Zip. Nada. Zilch. NO WMD. The report goes on to say that Iraq hasnt had ANY WEAPONS or CAPABILITY since the FIRST GULF WAR. NONE. Here are a few quotes from the President: **But for those who say we haven't found the banned manufacturing devices or banned weapons, they're wrong, we found them. George W. emperor72 Posted January 13, 2005 Author Report Posted January 13, 2005 I live right down the street from Camp Pendelton. More Marines from CP have died than anywhere else. This just frustrates me to no end. Im not trying to spark a political debate. Im just sick of being lied to. Do any of you guys have folding signal mirrors? Im looking at this as an upgrade.
Orion231 Posted January 13, 2005 Report Posted January 13, 2005 Don't worry about the WMD thing man, they were there, they may still be there, we stumbled upon a chem lab under a school, it had been recently emptied... Kinda makes you wonder where they moved them too. The problem is people want massive stock piles to be found, it's probably never going to happen, it only takes a little to do some major damage anyways. Soldiers are not dying for no reason, and if you ask most soldiers they are proud to be there, I know I was.

This makes me sick. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> buddy, you need to wake up, and step outside of your little isolated safe box of america. there is a real world out there where people die and horrible things happen. at once this countrys whole, along with the countrys leaders, thought that iraq possibly did have WMDs, which is a theory. now with the security of this nation, along with other nations, and its own, a theory can only be proven right or wrong with facts, and thats not something to be passive about. i have been in the mass grave sights in iraq with dead bodies sorrounding me with squares cut out in their heads. these squares where cut out in the heads so their brains could be removed and inspected after they were tested on with chemical and biological weapons. now mabye there havent been any wmds in iraq since the last gulf war. but we didnt know that until we were there, right. now we know, and dont you perhaps feel just a little bit safer knowing that suddam is gone, and there is no WMDs. despite what you think, your current leaders, democrat or republican, are not worthless jackass liars, k. everything is NOT a conspiracy i was a camp pendleton marine, and was in iraq for 9 months the first time around, for the war and after, as well as being deployed after 9/11. i have many buddies there now, and know many buddies who have died there. and i would do it again. why, you ask, because i have been there in those horrible grave sites, and even more so, i have been involved in suicide bombing with terrorist scum(not saddam followers, i mean islamic, we hate americans and want to kill them). not everybody, thank god, has that bad attitude, which in my honest opinion is a mental disorder. i believe in the good of this country, and what this country has fought for before to keep this country like it is. granted our security is paramount, but there are other people in the world that do mean something. they are humans too. i feel accomplished for what i did in iraq. eventually, that country will be free like ours. be happy you live here in a country where you can complain like you do.

But this time, we have ALL been lied to, and thats just not right. If you guys want to rationalize this by saying that we are safer now, go right ahead. I didnt like it when Clinton lied to congress. However, now we have these people lying to congress, the UN, NATO, and worst of all US. We the people have been lied to. There is just NO WAY around that.

There is just NO WAY around that. are you telling me that a politician never lied before? i personally have no use for having all of the soldiers over there that we have and some of them are friends of mine. it's a huge waste of tax payers money to go help out someone else. should we go to every country that treat's there people poorly? i've never seen them as a threat to us and don't expect them to be. 9/11 to me was an attack by terrorists just like we have here in america already and as far as i'm concerned had nothing to do with that area other than that's where they were from. fortunatly the US gets to pay for helping out people that wouldn't help us.

I don't like Bush at all, and not that Kerry was any better, but fact is he was elected fair and square and you've got to back him up... its part of what makes the US so great. Its the team mantality... if you play sports you won't like every guy you have on your side, but when it comes down to it you do what you got to do. I'm reminded of a recent Southpark episode: "Dude! I don't want to vote if my choices are a Turd Sandwich and a Giant Douche!"
