AlanR Posted January 15, 2005 Report Posted January 15, 2005 I am putting together a set of winter tires/wheels so I can get the stock chrome wheels out of the salt.... Does anyone know if the 16" rims from a non-SS 2004 Silverado will fit properly on ours? I think they are 16" x 6.5.
BigTsBadSS Posted January 15, 2005 Report Posted January 15, 2005 Yeah they should fit no problem they are the same bolt pattern any GM truck wheel would fit.
Bob_the_builder Posted January 15, 2005 Report Posted January 15, 2005 They sure do. I am running BF Goodrich All-Tarrian tires on 16" stock Silverado rims for the winter. Bob
smit Posted January 15, 2005 Report Posted January 15, 2005 I'm running 17" Avalanche alloys with Goodyear AT/S 265/70/17's. They're the same height as our stock SS wheels/tires. You can use the stock lugs too. They are great in the snow and look good too. I got a set on eBay for $500. Wheels and tires mounted and balanced. Less than 10 miles on them. I couldn't pass it up. It did cost another $100 to ship. I think it was still a good deal.
ChevySSandChevy8.1 Posted January 15, 2005 Report Posted January 15, 2005 They fit, the GM 6 lugs are interchangeable, you can run a 17 inch escalade rim or 16 inch silverado rim they all work.
