sdmf03 Posted January 15, 2005 Report Posted January 15, 2005 Hey everyone... I had an appointment yesterday, for an oil change and inspection,at my local GM dealer.I was going to mention the tailgate cable recall and my "clunking" steering shaft...but I didn't even have to.They brought up the recall on the computer and asked ME if I had a clunking problem with my steering. Also, since my SS just hit 30,000 miles they said it should have throttle body cleaning,EFI service, and fuel filter. It was just a relief, after hearing how long some people were waiting for sreering shafts. So...I dropped it off at 3:00...picked it up at 5:00...and had an oil change, inspection, chassis lube, fuel filter, throttle body/manifold cleaned,EFI service kit,new steering shaft installed, and new tailgate cables installed. Top notch dealer in my opinion!!!
ChevySSandChevy8.1 Posted January 15, 2005 Report Posted January 15, 2005 Sounds like a good dealer , lots of dealers require you to ask first before they do things like that.
XGMTech Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 Wow! Where is that dealer located? Just might be worth the drive!
