2xtreme Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 The other night the wife brought to my attention that there is cold air blowing on the passenger side floor The heat was up and the 20 degree air from outside was blowing harder than the heater was??? Has anyone heard of this, is there a vent that I need to close or something
fox_forma Posted January 17, 2005 Report Posted January 17, 2005 sure the door was fully shut, same thing happened to me when i didn;t shut my driver door completely and i kept feeling cold air on my legs, then at a traffic light i noticed the door wasn't completely shut and it solved my problem.
ChevySSandChevy8.1 Posted January 17, 2005 Report Posted January 17, 2005 I haven't had that except when the extended cab door wasn't closed properly, so the driver door wasn't closed properly so air was leaking in. Unless you didn't realize the ac was running.
TA219 Posted January 17, 2005 Report Posted January 17, 2005 I hear the same complaints about my tahoe , i am pretty sure the door was shut all of the way. She has complained more then once
cerbomark Posted January 17, 2005 Report Posted January 17, 2005 I m not sure it s the same but I had a big draft from the passengers side rear vent window. There are alot of threads about that. Just had the window replaced and no more noise or cold draft . It wasn t blowing hard but the cold air does make the passengers side door very cold on the inside.
2xtreme Posted January 17, 2005 Author Report Posted January 17, 2005 I thought the door may have been open, on the way home I sat shotgun while the wife drove home and the door was shut all the way still a cold draft. I tried all the different configurations with the automatic climate control still no change
Big O Posted January 17, 2005 Report Posted January 17, 2005 20 degree air from outside was blowing harder than the heater was <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sounds like a perfect place to hook up your supercharger ... nice cold forced air ummmmmmm.
