Got A SS Posted January 17, 2005 Report Posted January 17, 2005 Before I take my truck back to the dealer...Do your heated seats get as hot on the bottom as the back? I can really feel them on my back but the bottom doesn't feel any hotter than without the heat.

Big O Posted January 17, 2005 Report Posted January 17, 2005 I wish the back heat went further up my back ... It's so low that it doesn't do a lot of good ... I did notice if I lowered my seat all the way down it helped out a bit ... Good idea I just wish they would have finished it ...

Keep in mind that all of your weight is on the bottom of the seat. If I actually position myself so my back is pushed against the seat, then they are pretty close temp. wise. Dave
ALASKASS Posted January 19, 2005 Report Posted January 19, 2005 Its been below 0 most of the time in Anchorage the last few weeks and my back heater is hotter than the bottom one. But on the passenger side the bottom one is hotter.

They told me they were designed to be like that because your always sitting on the bottoms. Does anyone else believe them, I don't!
2003SilvSS Posted February 3, 2005 Report Posted February 3, 2005 Just an idea..... What if you took an IR Laser Temp Gauge and checked the temp of the back and the bottom? Dunno if that'd give an accurate reading, but close. Of course you'd have to start the truck and not be in it before you took the temp readings. Brian
