Trade In value?

Has anyone been to a dealer lately to try and trade in their SS? Just wondering what I'd be looking at. I've had it since July of 2003 and it only has 3900 miles on it. While I love it I am always thinking something more appropriate should be filling the spot in the garage.

I was wondering that myself although I will never get rid of mine. I have had mine for the same amount of time. Do you mind sharing how much u paid for yours? I have been trying to figure out if I got ripped off.

It scares me too.I never have a vehicle more than 25 to 30 months that's why I don't have all the mod's on mine yet it only a few so far.Exhaust or wheels next

I keep the vehicle until the warranty is about to expire. My last silverado (2000) I kept it until 1K miles before the warrant ran...Plus the SS looked too good in the lot! What can I say?

I traded in my 03 victory red SS, it had 14000 miles on it and every option and I traded it in on november 9th. I got 26500 for the trade. This is the link to the thread, I was also curious about the trade in value back then.

I also traded mine 04 last November and got $27,000 in trade but had to beg for that much. I did not want to trade it but as rico said, I just had to get something more appropriate to fill the garage. The SS was very appropriate, but when you take in all the factors (income and expenses) I just could not keep it. I am sad and have been since the day I let the SS go. But on a positive note, someone else out there is driving an SS.
