What about porting your tb, drilling the thermostat and modifying the factory airbox?

you can modify the factory airbox and gain a bit, but without a good filter you aren't gaining much. air filters aren't free.... ram air builds, also not free....

 

porting the tb on a stock truck is a very minimal gain at best and isn't recomended.

 

drilling the thermostat isn't a bad idea, but will commonly set off an ses light on a stock truck as well as run very inconsistant temperatures...

What about "under a buck????" Can I highjack the thread ever-so-slightly??? How about the diode modification for 4 lights on bright? Just a single cheap diode is under a buck.

Do a search on headlight mod, SUPER SUPER easy and I did mine in like 3 minutes faltt and that is including soldering all of the connections. And for a buck I will send anyone a diode and the wires soldered to it for this mod, and I will still make 63 cents if I pay the shipping!
