firstwins
Im a 36 year old car nut that has never seen the need to spend the coins to buy a new car. To date I believe I have owned somewhere around 80 different cars. I am not really brand loyal, if I like something, I buy it. I had been reading about the Silverado SS and knew the ride characteristics of the GM products. My girlfriend and I were out looking at a used Ford F150 (something I could afford to pay cash for) and stumbled upon an SS. We looked at it, we drove it, and I absolutely love the vehicle. Soooooooo, my SS is the first brand new vehicle I have ever purchased (or financed). 0% financing was a definite draw, and I wanted to share my thoughts of this vehicle with you good people incase anyone else is thinking of what ownership of one of these fine vehicles would be like. My SS is the only vehicle that would do EVERYTHING I wanted a vehicle to do. Ride well, look good, scoot a bit, handle amazingly for a pickup truck, room for my 2 kids, carry "stuff" in a bed, have AWD and the possibility to tow something. I live in Pa, so nasty weather is a definite here a few months in the year. I think Chevrolet did an awesome job with the design and execution of the truck! I verified the 108mph speed limiter on the way home from doing the paperwork... all around awesome vehicle. I have to watch myself sometimes because the truck does drive so smoothly, it is difficult to go slowly for me and have an idea of how fast I am driving. Kudo's to Chevy on building an awesome package! I love it! Chris
