I think this question has been asked/answered many times. Seems the best and easiest place for our truck is right by the crossmember where the two pipes meet.

That's where I am putting mine.

Richard (BigTex) mentioned putting the x-pipe before the cats. I am thinking about giving that a try.

Eric - My new mufflers came in today. I'm tempted to start the upgrade this weekend. Weather is looking very good. Any progress on your exhaust?

Doubt it, Richard. Eric prefers to fill up his garage with "to-do" mods first, then get them done. :P

Shut up Ben :D

Actually, all I have right now is the x-pipe. I am waiting on the headers, ball and socket flanges (3"), and pipe expander to make the header 3". As soon as the UPS man shows up, I will be in business. All I have to do is make the decision on whether to go with or without cats. Of course then all I need is a welder. :banghead:

Remember Ben, I still have that block sitting in my storage locker waiting for a rotating assembly and machining. Sounds like something I could be getting soon. After all, it is tax season, and I am getting a BIG return.
