Super easy.. a couple screws to pull the cover from under the dash then a couple screws in the resistor itself.  The new one will come with a harness pigtail because your old one is probably burnt.  Crimp it on with quality ratcheting crimpers (not the cheap ones that just put a dent in the connector) or better yet solder and heat shrink.

Just be sure you get the correct resistor for the type of A/C controls you have.  And it's probably smart to go ahead and spend the bucks on the lifetime warranty part, because it'll probably go bad again.  I've replaced mine twice in the past few years.

If it keeps going bad often then your blower motor is probably bad and drawing too much current.
