LSR Mike Posted January 21, 2005 Report Posted January 21, 2005 The Dealer is Re-Chroming my Stock Wheels and put these on while the work is being done. Gonna look like this for about 3 weeks.......
1FastSS Posted January 21, 2005 Report Posted January 21, 2005 Lol................i feel sorry for you
black03zr5 Posted January 21, 2005 Report Posted January 21, 2005 Are those tahoe z-71 wheels? It doesn't look too bad, I could really go for that setup right now. We are supposed to get 5-9 inches of snow today. It could have been a lot worse, they could have rounded up some spares to put on. Dave
DGIEPSS Posted January 21, 2005 Report Posted January 21, 2005 The Dealer is Re-Chroming my Stock Wheels and put these on while the work is being done. Gonna look like this for about 3 weeks....... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> what was wrong with your stock rims
LSR Mike Posted January 22, 2005 Author Report Posted January 22, 2005 Original Stock Rims had a bad chrome job starting to peel etc...They weren't going to cover them, thought they were Chevy factory Chrome and I messed them up. When I told them they were 2003 and were done by them, the Service Manager stood up and took care of it. I was impressed to say the least.(Shameless Plug to Follow) Delillo Chevrolet in Huntington Beach and Mark Peeler, the Service Manager are good people to work with.
ChevySSandChevy8.1 Posted January 22, 2005 Report Posted January 22, 2005 Those rims don't look that bad on the truck, but the chrome 20s look much nicer.
BigTsBadSS Posted January 22, 2005 Report Posted January 22, 2005 I fell sorry for you that looks bad.
radford175 Posted January 22, 2005 Report Posted January 22, 2005 They don't look that bad at least if you get some snow you will have no problem.
DGIEPSS Posted January 24, 2005 Report Posted January 24, 2005 They don't look that bad at least if you get some snow you will have no problem. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i would rather be a little extra carefull and have my truck look good
deve8edsilv Posted January 26, 2005 Report Posted January 26, 2005 They don't look that bad at least if you get some snow you will have no problem. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i'm pretty sure that won't happen. i was just in anaheim over the weekend and it was like 70 or 75 degrees.......
superman Posted January 26, 2005 Report Posted January 26, 2005 i would drive something else for awhile if posible. that looks horriable. tell them to get on the ball and finish your rims.
quickmedic1 Posted January 26, 2005 Report Posted January 26, 2005 It could be worse. You could have those wheels and a foot of snow! Most people have no clue what an SS is much less the type of wheels on it. The wait will be worth it when you get your new wheels.
