black bowtie with ss logo

i am doing some black work on my ss and was thinking a black bowtie would look sweet. anyone know where i could get one, if not what would be the best way to paint one.

I bought mine from Shopman1 here on this site and then painted it myself. Only problem with paintin it was that I had to spray it with a bonding agent first or the paint would peel off. Got it from the local paint store. Don't remember the name of it but I'll try to find it if your interested. Once it was sprayed I just taped off the areas I didn't want painted, sprayed it with black paint and 5-6 coats of clear coat.

i have one and it is painted, today it started to chip off, i like the one you posted uo there i think i may do one similar very nice touch

The stuff I used is call Bulldog Adhesion Promotor. It's made specially to make paint stick to metal surfaces. Sprays on clear. Dries in about 30 minutes. Worked great for me. No chipping or flaking yet.

I make the SS bowties at my shop. If you want one I can get it anodized. It will cost $150.00. You can choose to have the SS engraved after the anodizing and it will come out silver or you can have it done before anodizing and the whole thing will be black. Anodizing is super durable it won't peel like paint can. Let me know if you want one as my next shipment will be here this coming week and they sell pretty fast. E-mail me at [email protected].
