my local dealer has a red 2005 ss and a silver birch ss 2005, and they both look good. I can see that the silver birch is marketed for the same people that buy the denali's and such. the color does look alot better in person

i looked at one about an hour ago at the dealership. i dont like the color to much. for the cost of $40000+ i want the SS badges to really stand out. they blend in on the silver birch. :nonod:

Can either one of you guys get a few pics of the Silver Birch SS? It doesn't look like Hendrick or anyone close by in North Carolina is going to order one anytime soon.

I was curious as to what it was going to look like when I heard they were going to offer it for 2005.

Good points about the decals on the silver. Maybe black would have looked better for the decals? Or at least black outlined decals.

Thanks guys. I stumbled upon a few pics the more I got used to the website.

Not as big a fan of the color as I thought I would be. I still think my arrival blue one is the best color.

If you guys want a new SS Ron Pauley is the man. My 05 SS is fully loaded, stickered at $43,620 and I paid a little over $35,00 for it. You can't beat that! Ron is a super guy to work with as well! I'd like to see a new Silver SS though, I don't like the pics but maybe it's better in person.

I'm starting to like it...but, those silver wheels and emblems seem to clash with it. I think if they were blacked out that truck would be bada$$. While you were at it, you might as well black out the bowtie and brake ducts. I think that would be sweet.

First of all that Silver Birch SS bites, I hate it!! Besides everyone including Chevrolet knows that Black is the sweetest color, that's why it's the poster child for the model line!! :D

that silver ss looks damn good. I probably would have gotten that color instead of my black one if the dealer had it in stock. But my choices were black, red, blue so i picked the fastest one :driving:
