I heard you can't pull heavy loads with a turbo

I have a turbo SS with our own kit on it. When I pulled my enclosed car trailer the engine was always in boost on level ground with the cruise set at 75mph. The underhood temps were high and the engine water temp was high. We would also ask that our kit not be used on a pulling truck.

The turbo runs on airflow and latent heat. The closer to the engine the higher the efficiency. The STS kit is a nice piece for the price but you will make more power with the turbo closer to the engine.

I just talked to this guy from Livernois Motorsports and he said that with a turbo on your truck you should not tow heavy load because you will heat up the turbo to much. Also he said that the STS kit does not run as efficiently because it is not right off the header and that there is loss in efficiency. Is any of this true?
