2003SilvSS
I took my SSS into the Chevy dealer this morning to look at the vibration noise up under the dash and to replace the tailgate straps. They replaced the straps and called me and said that they are going to replace the entire steering column. I'm supposed to take it back in a week or so when they call and let me know that the steering column is IN. I asked why they needed to replace it and he said that the bearings inside the column are bad. I asked if this would replace the intermediate steering shaft and he said yes. Is this correct?? SSplaytoy
Did the shaft today, and took an hour. No more vibration.
