bigbl62
I put a new gates belt on k061115. We also added some timing, for some reason the pcm did not accept the download with the upgraded timing so we did a pcm relearn, and changed the spark plugs We did 5 dyno pulls
BigTex
Thanks for the info. I bet it feels good. Torque and power curves sure look much better now than it did with the other dyno. Nice long, flat, and smooth cureves.
BenKey
Richard, you talking about Flyer? His gaskets also were all messed up and torn/pitted. Easy to mess those gaskets up if you're not careful putting it on.
BigTex
Actually, it was Naked Av. He had been complaining about lack of power since he had it installed last year. He went to remove the SC and send it in for service when he found all the manifold bolts were hand tight at best. SC checked out fine, and after a proper reinstall, it runs like a champ. How is the whine compared to the whipple? bigbl62, what's next up for the mod list other than headers? Stall, maybe?
BigTex
The whine is completely different. There is no "wheeeee" sound from the whipple, its pretty quiet. It probably goes hand in hand with the screw efficiency / technology thing. I'm very happy with the radix. I'm sorry I didn't do it sooner.
