SSplaytoy
I was reading that they only last about 15k to 20k miles on a blower. Is this true? Has anyone replaced theirs yet or had problems?
BenKey
Never heard that before. I have replaced mine, but only to add heads. I think most people only have problems if they are running high boost. Although, it may be something you have to replace on a fairly regular basis in FI applications, my guess is it's not as often as you've read. Personally, I wouldn't do it before 50-60K miles, unless there was a problem.
SSplaytoy
Good to hear from a guy who knows what he is talking about! Not to worry for me then. I am only boosting 8.5 pounds.
mwalls54
when i replaced mine i had a hard time finding them. i had to drive two and half hours one way. if not i would have taken 3 days to a week to get in.
SuperDave
I've heard that a lot of the parts for our trucks are hard to get.... why is that? Just slow production? After all, the trucks have been made since 2003... that's plenty of time to get "caught up" isn't it?
