bigbl62
how much hp would I get from a cam and heads package? Can the rest of the motor and trans handle those upgrades? I think I will never be happy!!! I need a 700hp SS. I think that would do it!!! BenKey
Get a TC and either get your tranny built, or buy one ready to go. A TC and a Radix will break tires free at will.
Nightshift
As soon as some money falls out the sky.... The TC is next for me. 2600 stall? WW
SSLink
A cam will be a nice addition. The right one will give you good off-idle torque and allow you to build boost nicely in the mid to upper RPM's. Hogged out heads and longtubes will also give gains but probably not as dramatic as on an N/A application. You will gain some power but lose boost. The TC will be more or less important depending on what cam you decide to go with. It's tough to stop once you've been bitten by the HP bug. If you get to the 600+ HP level you're definitely gonna need a built tranny. Edited February 22, 2005 by SSLink (see edit history)
zippy
torque converter change and long tube headers would show considerable gain.

bigbl62
what would it take to be able to break all 4 tires loose? Would a stall converter suck if I drive the truck everyday for work?
