RacerJJ Posted February 22, 2005 Report Share Posted February 22, 2005 I have had my trans mods (see sig) in for about a month now and I feel like it is not shifting as hard as it used to. Can my pcmforless tune begin to learn and adjust or am I just getting used to it? I hope I am just getting used to it. Has anyone else experienced this? TIA. hank Posted February 22, 2005 Report Share Posted February 22, 2005 my shifts have gotten soft for about a day after each time i change my tune (6 times so far), then back to normal. this also happend when i had my tranny repaired, after having the pump replaced inside. everything is back to normal now. AWDGM Posted February 24, 2005 Report Share Posted February 24, 2005 The "adaptive learn" feature in the programming (not the tuning) will try to force the transmission back to stock line pressure when you add a shift kit. The programming sees the higher line pressure from the shift kit as somthing wrong and try's to correct it. No way around it other than having your tuner bump the pressure up a little.
