iwineng03ss Posted March 19, 2005 Report Share Posted March 19, 2005 i getting ready to hook my pac unit up this weekend. mine has a blue remote wire coming off of it. that is what i use to hook the remote wire from the amp to the pac unit correct? and does it really matter what rca inputs i use i see one is marked rear but someone said that theirs made a noise when hooked to that particular one and not the other does it make a difference as long as the gain control is set for that certain set of rca's? fox_forma Posted March 19, 2005 Author Report Share Posted March 19, 2005 when you hook the PAC up, you have to connect the blue wire on the PAC to the pink wire on the factory GM harness. Go to the "How To" section in the forum and look at the sub installation one. Pics show it all. I had the question about which RCA's to hook into, but I guess it doesn;t matter. I got a buzzing sound when I hooked into one set and it was fine in the other so I went with the ones that didnt buzz and its fine.
