vtodd82
a summit tech today asked me "why do you want those longtube headers anyway? truck engines react the same to shorties as to long tubes." i told him i have always heard the opposite, but hes sure that shorties are just as efficient in creating power as longtubes, and claims he has seen this proof. he wasnt trying to sell me anything, he just told me not to waste my money on longtubes. Dylan06SS
I have shorties, but I'd have to disagree w/ him.. the longtubes are going to be better regardless if their on a truck, car, or moped.

matt rem
Long tubes, the shorties are a waste of time,
56chevywagon
I'd actually like to see someone do a test with both to see just what kinda performance differance there is....come on Dylan ;) Even if it is only g-tech times...It would be interesting to see the range of numbers put out with each(0-60 and 1/4 mile) But if you have the money, do the long tubes...if not, shorties will give you performance too. Nightshift
I went from shorties to long tubes... All I can say is Holy Sh!t ! ! ! The shorties had some gain, the long tubes are a knockout! Get yourself a nice set of long tubes, I went with the group buy on the Dynatechs. Best money I've dropped in a long time. WW
