gabbett1
Any of you guys running big horsepower (i'm talking about the guys that are running low 12's or better) ever made any changes to your all wheel drive system? My machanic told me that I wouldn't be able to do much more power to my truck with out changing some of that stuff. I'm running an 8psi Pro Charger system and just recently put in my shift kit from Zippy.

Dylan06SS
From what I understand the tranny is the only weak link... someone just needs to get that 4L80 figured out and you'll be on easy street Edited March 15, 2005 by dylanvonkleist (see edit history)
desrtrat
from what i have heard the transfer case in our trucks will hold up to about 2,000 ft/tq. so if that is correct the t-case would be the last worry i would have. like anything else if you beat the crap out of if, or do burn outs with the frount drive shaft out then YES it will fail
