03SCSS Posted March 19, 2005 Report Share Posted March 19, 2005 I must say I love my truck but I am a stickler for noises, fit and finish. I have an 03' SS and I have been dissappointed with a differential noise in the front end. I understand that being AWD the clutches are constantly engaging and disengaging and so forth but I can hear it when my stereo is blaring. I think it has become more prevalent recently. cerbomark Posted March 23, 2005 Report Share Posted March 23, 2005 dealer changed the transfer case fluid yestersday when I ask him about the slight noise. He said they upgraded or changed the type fluid they use. He was well aware of what I was talking about and pulled the truck right in without even a test drive or question.
