TimeLessKustomS
well kumhos' are the cheapest for the size , without egtting like some xtreme tires that are really cheap and you get 10k miles, for the money kumho are cheapest but you get good wear for 22"- 28" sizes
AmesSS
I'm getting some 22's also. I think I'm going to end up with 295/40/22 tires.
SS Silv
Should I go with a 305/40/22 or a 305/45/22.
6.0ss
I have some 22's on order and they are coming with the BFG's g force in a 305/40-22 they offer a little more protection than the 295 tire
W2W402
Personally I would go wider (305/40/22) than taller! I like the look better! Of course it also depends on what brand you're looking at! BFG T/A KDW's or Nitto 404 are both extremely good choices... cokedrvrbjw
For 22's i had 305.40.22, on the 23's now its 305.40.
AUTOGUY
The 295/40/22 is only 31.3" (Too Small) The 305/40/22 is 31.606" (Close to Original just a bit Smaller) Original Size is 275/55/20 which is 31.909" Tall The 295/45/22 is 32.5" (Close to original but a little Taller) The 305/45/22 is 32.802" (Almost an inch Taller) Too big in my opinion. The originals are 10.83" Wide The 305's are 12" Wide and the 295's are 11.6" Wide I am still torn between the 295/45 and the 305/40. I will probably end up with one of those 2 sizes. AUTOGUY
Actually the 295/45 has a taller sidewall than a 305/40 by about 1/2". The 305 and 295 refers to the width not the sidewall heigth.
