bschultheis01
I was reading around on some other forums that i go to, and someone was saying that the new 6.0 will have 400 and 400, and that the one in the new SSS will actually be a SSSS (SS Supercharged Silverado). Has anyone heard anything of this? This would be awesome if you ask me...

Chris2005SS
I did read the SS for 06 would have a version of the LS2 rated at 391 HP similar to the Trailblazer SS. GMInsidenews.com also mentions this. Saw a thread on a Saturn forum regarding the supercharger rumor but it wasn't confirmed. Either way, I don't think it would be good for sales if the Trailblazer tops the Silverado in HP so expect GM to up the Ante for 06.

vtodd82
i just read this on gminsidenews.com Full-Size Trucks: With the rollout of the next generation full-size trucks, GM will be revamping its Vortec 6000 engine. The new 6.0L will produce 400HP and 400lb/ft of torque (strangely similar to the LS2, no?). The 6.0L will be in the next generation of Cadillac Escalade, EXT, ESV, GMC Yukon Denali, Denali XL, GMC Sierra Denali and Chevrolet Silverado SS Supercharged. ...Oops I think I just spilled some info there by accident. Wicked_SS
This is off topic...but I have a question. I was looking at an '05 SS and the mpg for street and hwy were WAY different than what was on my sticker on my '03. If we have the same engine how could it be different??? cokedrvrbjw
I may wait for an 06 before i trade now, if its got 400hp, then gets supercharged...thats a big difference from the 03's. Im sure the tag will go up 10k too.

I saw a clone a while back on cardomain.com and it looked pretty good. I've always had white vehicles.
