TBSS Posted April 9, 2005 Report Share Posted April 9, 2005 I rode in the back of a friend's xB and boy was the ride crappy. Bouncy as hell, really poor springs. Nice interior though, and can't argue with the mileage (if it's true, that is - my friends with a Prius only get 45 and it's supposed to get 50-60 mpg). Just sumthing cheap that I don't have to worry about were I park it. Can't say that for the SS & SC. Interesting, the used ones go for almost as much as new. Reading on the Scion Forums they're getting anywhere from 27-35 mpg, and few complaints. I don't drive far but with gas heading north of $2.50 a gallon it's something to think about. EDIT: Oh... haulin79 Posted April 10, 2005 Report Share Posted April 10, 2005 The xB has tons of room. My friend got one a few months back, he's 6'3" and he said he fits 4 people that are his size comfortably. Reliability wise, it's a Toyota so it'll last 3 times longer than our beloved SSS and get 3 times better gas mileage too. With gas $3+/gallon and rising, having an AWD SSS can get expensive. The Scion can be dressed out and has plenty of room. A used Mini Cooper would work but I'd want something bigger. I would have to have the 'S' , that knocks out my cash plan. I'm thinking silver on the Scion, I could pimp it, it would look good... They got a supercharger for them too.... WW This one is on the Scion forum, kind of what I'm targeting.
