I also have taken the bumpstop brackets out and mounted them directly to the frame. It doesn't happen all that often, but it happens and it pisses me off everytime I hear it! Late- Alex <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Do you have any issues with your rear driveshaft rubbing on the crossmember? I am not as low as you but I have noticed that it was very close and being that there was a crossmember just infront of it and behind it I removed it when I did my exhaust. I then found out it wasn't any thicker then exhaust tubing anyways so not really a structural piece I belive the earlier silverados had the charcoal canister mounted off of it.
