ShortBus
I've got a story and a question. The other night on my way home from happy hour a silver v6 mustang started messing with me. Well all I could see was the 2 girls in the front 2 seats so I played along. I waved and destroyed them light to light for 2-3 miles. I pulled into a beer store and saw the mustang shoot past me and turn into a store lot a little down the road. I'm carrying my beer to the counter when the mustang pulls into the lot. Some punk ass kid gets out of the back of the car and tells me how nice my truck is. At first I'm friendly but then he tell me that he wants me to meet him at midnight to race his dodge rumble bee for 500 cash. I explain that number one I've been drinking and number 2 I'm not interested. He laughed and said that sooner or later he'd get a piece of my truck. Now a stock SS with a tune, do I have a chance against a stock Rumble Bee? And How much should I worry about this jerk messing with my ride? kaotik1
The rumble bee is only the hemi motor in a sport cab pick-up.. Not like its the SRT-10 or anything.. Then again its still just a dodge.
Coda
from what i remember about hearing i think the rumble bee isnt fast at all compared to a SSS, its more of an appearance truck than anything...
FuelSlut
rumble bee is an appearance package...race him for 500 cash, take his money and start off with a cold air intake, t.blazer converter &/or a zippy shift kit... oh yeah, and laugh the entire time.... cuz its funny -
vtodd82
the rumble bee is just a regular cab short bed hemi. the rumble bee is nothing but a pathetic appearance package. personally it disgusts me , yet people still buy them thinking they are faster than a normal hemi. kinda like that stickers give you horsepower thing. anyhow, if he is stock, and your SS has a tune, you should have no problem destroying him. if his hemi has the superchips, paxton s/c, or that new hemi cam, you might worry. I was not impressed with the hemi. Got a couple guys here at my office that think hemi's are the shiznit. I just laugh and smile.

geomcrider
A Rumble Bee is like a hot chick that cant perform in the bedroom. Nice to have around but when it comes down to it !! Its useless ! Except for show !
Dylan06SS
I can tell you from experience that you will have absolutely no problem at all beating a stock Rumble Bee... theres a guy local to me here that I beat on a regular basis. Hes running exhaust and a K&N CAI from what he says. As is true of all the HEMI powered trucks you not gonna have a hard time beating them unless they're running nitrous or untill someone gets the programming for them cracked. CrAzYMoPaRGuY
My buddy has a 4.7 Dakota, and he's at the track all the time with all sorts of cars. He has driven the Rumble Bee and said he thinks his Dakota will beat it. He's quite confident. How does THAT come into play......? He pulled up beside a yellow Rumble Bee a few weeks back, he said the guy blipped the throttle, he blipped the throttle, and they both were waiting for a green light. The light changes, and my buddy said his jaw dropped, the thing blew his doors! It beat him out of the hole, and top end he kept going and it just pulled and pulled and pulled on him. He's a car guy, so he followed him through town, and caught up with the guy in a parking lot. Turns out...... It's an SRT-10, done up like a Rumble Bee! LOL!!!!!!!!!! It's in Maple Ridge B.C. Pretty funny!?!
jay rock
if he's really stock race him and take the money youll have no problew killing him by al least 5 car lenghts, i beat them about 7 or 8 car lenghts in the 1/4 mile
smkdu
Oh hell yeah race him and take his money and his girl after seeing that he's inadequte she'll come running to you Besides even when my truck was stock I would kill my buddys Rumble Bee every single day from work, not only would I kill him, sometimes I gave him a head start Last year my uncle beat him in the 1/4 mile with his 327(5.3L) regular cab with a time of 15.74. The fastest I've ever seen one go is the 15.6 that someone in here previously posted. Even if he has a intake and/or programmer you should still be able to beat him hands down
