The BSER Rollpan

Recommended Posts

Depends on if they're going to smooth it out for you. The pans from BSer have some low spots (specifically either side of the liscence plate spot) So... $400 for a couple coats of body filler, sanding, prep, and paint isn't that bad really... now if its just for paint then I'd say get a second opinion.

P-E-R-F-E-C-T

Theres not a hint of any crack or breakage at all... we've had 85 degree days w/ bright sun and 60 degree days w/ rain and that was what everyone said would be the issue... tempurature changes causing the plastic to expand and contract.... looks like its going to hold up without an issue.

You should only need a skim coat of filler then sand for primer. 400 is a little high. Most guys around here get it done for under $200. Of course the body shop is used to doing them and it takes them less time to do the prefitting (that's where a lot of your cost probably is). You could probably save about half if you did the disassembly of your bumper and prefited it yourself. I get them filled and painted for $130 but i do all the other work myself. I'm no body man but the fitting is easy to do with a sanding block, removing the bumper takes longer than you would think though (there are lots of bolts and brackets that have to be removed). Prefitting is the key to a quality install.

If you sell your bumper you can probabnly come out about even...those things are expensive...I got $350 for the last one I sold.
