BILLS04SS
I got it from www.autoanything.com. They price matched my lowest available find on the net.
BOB47
Sounds like a good price to me. I paid around $350-$375 for mine installed about a year and a half ago.
BILLS04SS
the only thing I didn't like about the Extang is that they make them to order from the manufacturer. I want it yesterday. lol
Woffski
That is a good cover. Very easy to install. I have had two.

busterz
I like the looks of these but have 1 question: how does the velcro part hold up ? (especially in a stupid freeze/thaw climate lihe PA) ?
kmsss
My velcro started not holding down in very cold weather, especially with high cross winds. The air pushes into the side and balloons the cover up. Called Extang and they sent me a new tarp, no questions asked! The only other thing is the fact that it does not cover the stake pockets and water gets into the box! It is a very sharp loking cover, I would but another! cwest94
The cover was very easy to install, took me an hour one evening. Like kmsss noted that water does get into the stake holes, but it isn't much. I am going to find something to use to plug up the bolt hole that is inside so this doesn't happen anymore. We had a very cold winter this year and I had no problems with the cover staying down till one day I had to open the cover to get my bike in the bed of the truck, and when I reclosed the cover it had a hard time sticking and all the rain that got all over the velcro was frozen and nothing would stick. The only problem I have had is with the locking latch, I'm going to call Extang and see if they will replace it.
BOB47
No problems so far with the velcro. Temps around here have gone from 90's last summer to -15 this past winter. The velcro is 100 times better than snaps. They are impossible to put back on in the winter. Plus the low profile of the Extang looks better. IMHO. The only other thing is the fact that it does not cover the stake pockets and water gets into the box! It is a very sharp loking cover, I would but another! KMSS: You can get stake pocket covers from many sources. I got mine from Stylinconcepts. They come in metal or plastic.
kmsss
Now that you mentioned it, I had a problem with the latch also. Extand should take care of that too. I fixed mine with one of the slides that hold the front down. When they sent my new tarp, they included the front and rear pieces also. I took one of the slides off the old one and put it on the other side of the rear. Works good and now I have locks on both sides.

I've noticed from time to time that the velcro isn't as good as it was when i first put the cover one. Wounder if I should just see about getting new cover or just get a latch.
