ThePDB
A buddy of mine who had a 6.0 liter chevy has a diablosport handheld. It's already been reprogramed. Apparently when you plug them in to a vehicle, they have to be reset in order to work in another truck. Anyways, it's pretty much brand new. He's asking 175.00. I saw it online for like 459.00 so it seems like a pretty good deal. I told him I wasn't sure if anyone on this site would be interested but that I would list it anyways. As for hp gain and MPG I'm not sure. I tried to get a hold of him tonight but he didn't call back yet. I'm pretty sure he still used premium. I don't know anything about the reprograming process either. If I did I'd probably keep this thing for myself.
SS BY WAY OF QUICKSPEED RACING
heres the scoop guys. we have the diablo predator in bowlegz truck, and heres what i have gathered from it. the grooviest point, is that you can adjust the shift points in the truck. you can pick and choose how soon or how late, and you can change the shift firmness. (definitely not equal to a trans go shift kit) you can also change the top end....but we only got like five or ten mph out of it when it was supposed to give us twenty. you can change the air/fuel mixture, amongst other small details. ie:calibrate for bigger tires, or different gears. ultimately, (sorry if i ruin your sale here) i would go with the pcm for less rather than the diablo. with the pcm 4 less, you can get into a broader range of parameters, and the boost the line pressure in the trans. (did someone say "screw torque management?) as a matter-o-fact, the diablo will be coming out of his truck soon, and it too will be up for sale if anyone else needs one. iffin ya have any other questions, hit me up! quick
