trans shifting problem

I just got a yank 3000stall and shift kit with servos installed at centry trans in

houston. I like the new mods but I have a small slip when shifting from 2nd to

3rd, only happens at part throttle. It sounds like you shift the truck into nuteral

for a second. Called the trans shop back and they said the trans is going out.

the trans had no problems befor the install and the engine is stock with tune.

Just want to know if anybody has had this problem?

I am wondering if you are feeling a slip or torque managment. If it feels like a loss of power and falls down a bit on the shift you are more then likely feeling that stock programming more. If it actually revs. almost like you said then you could have a trans problem.

Mine does it out of first into second. If I get on it hard it, the truck jerks hard back and forth like it wants to shift but can't until I get off the throttle.

You will want to get the torque management removed with tuning. T/M fights against the quicker shifts of the shift kit with servos. I would be shocked if the tranny was going out with no power mods.

Good to hear. I've got a zippy shift kit with servos ready to install and I can't afford for the trans to go out.

I had Bryan remove it when he did my tuning. So I doubt that is my problem.
