BRUTONMOTORSPORTZ
My mechanic finished the install of my Radix today. With the truck idleing should I see fluid pumping through the intercooler resevoir? As it stands now there is no fluid dumping from the top hose into the top of the resevoir. The truck starts and idle fine but, if you drive it down the block and turn it off and then back on it will idle up to about 5500 rpms and back to normal. It is like I have blipped the throttle when I start it. If the truck sits for about a hour after I turn it off and then turn it on there is no surge, idles fine. Is all of this normal? Thanks for the help.

BRUTONMOTORSPORTZ
Pump power? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Tommorow, I am going to look at all of the wiring to make sure the mechanic wired everything up properly. I took it for a spin under boost and noticed I was getting fluid returned at the T connection coming out of the supercharger. The T was dry before driving it down the road. The fluid still never came back into the resevoir under the cap while I had it coming by the T intersection. Does this mean my pump is working? All of this while idling. I found out also what boost does to exhaust clamps. My B&B came loose before the muffler. Have to fix that now.
BenKey
Do you see fluid in the res as it sits , not running? If not, put some in it. If the pump is running, it should suck that fluid right out of there.
BRUTONMOTORSPORTZ
Yes there is fluid in my resevoir. It is all the way up right below the top inlet under the cap.
Krambo
Yea, that's not right. Mine flows nicely at idle. Did the mechanic tap the correct "grey" wire on the truck? There are several grey wires to choose from. Make sure it is the wire that travels down the frame rail. Check the ground up on the firewall (if that is where he put it). BRUTONMOTORSPORTZ
I will check that tommorow. I am at work now so no tools with me right now. Let just say the pump is not working. How did the fluid get to the T out of the charger? After the install we had to add fluid to the resevoir during idle and after the test drive. KySilverado
Should be pumping fluid like a sumbitch anytime the engine is running. With the cap off there will be no doubt when it is. I wired mine wrong the first install.
dcairns
I may have been the only one with this particular problem, but it is easy to check and make sure you have this fuse present.

BRUTONMOTORSPORTZ
I checked for that fuse. I have a dummy fuse in that place just like the one shown in the install instruction book.
FuelSlut
are you wired to that post? or the one closer to the firewall.... excuse me.. legally the "bulk-head"
BRUTONMOTORSPORTZ
I will know in the AM when I get the cover off. I thought my mechanic went by the instructions. Are you saying it should be not be wired to that one.
FuelSlut
ive seen it go to either... instructions say the rear, but the eyelett on the harness is the same size for the front-most post... the rear-most is slightly larger than the eyelette....?????? this may be your answer, good luck........enjoy the radix! BRUTONMOTORSPORTZ
Good news!!!!!!!!!! I took the 30amp fuse off of my 2500 Crew and placed it in the spot where the red plastic thing marked B+ on post one was. My pump is pumping like crazy now. Guess I need to go buy a 30 amp fuse for that spot now. Can I just use the fuse on the post 2 position or does the truck need it for somethen else? Now if I can figure out why my idle shoots way up like I am on the gas after I turn the truck off and back on after driving. It then settles out. If I wait a hour before cranking it there is no problem. Thanks for all the help!!!!!!!!!!!
