idle dip when e-fans kick...

Recommended Posts

installed 05-e'fans a week or two ago (finally gettin around to posting this) when i wired to the front-most power (B+) post near the fuse block (front-most meaning closest toward the front bumper)... i did not have a fuse in the block for that post... so i tried a 30 - blew the F outta that, went to a 60... fans operate fine... my truck never goes over 170 (thats incl. the 160 stat), my question is... anyone else seeing/feeling a HUGE dip in idle when they kick on? I mean.. this is terriable feeling... so i guess another question would be... what size fuse are you running there?

im pretty sure "lasso-ing out the torque/abuse management" included something with the power steering pressure sensor aswell... because low speed (i.e. parking lot) manouvers... do NOT like the tune or drop in idle what so ever, and tends to stall on me once and a while.... - yeah sure its embarassing comming back from a race down on telegraph & joy rd. (for all you d-troit'ers) after whoppin some 454 85' monte carlo ass... or wrx sti (with toys) ass... and then tryin to back into your spot... and stall... ugh! need to get this adjusted... and thats the term im gonna use... adjusted... because its not broken... im not fixin $hit.... just adjustin!!!!
