Phoenix33759
I have noticed my boost guage runs at 10-30 inches on vacuum at idle. is this normal? I do not remember it running that low in the past. I have theati procharger set up, no cam yet. I run about 10 psi boost under wot. Can anyone tell me if this is normal or is there a problem. H2Racer
My vacuum runs right at 18 psi with a stock cam LQ4. If you've changed the cam you might well see less vacuum. Not that this is an issue... but the vacuum should be a steady reading... not a rapidly bouncing needle. A bouncing needle is indicative of a problem.
