1blackss Posted June 27, 2003 Report Posted June 27, 2003 Does anoyone know how you can come up with a aluminum hitch cover with the new SS font. I was hoping someone knows a machine shop that could maybe run a few for us SS guys?
Hunter Lee Posted June 27, 2003 Report Posted June 27, 2003 I saw alum. ones in the A&A Auto Parts catelog. Might be what you are looking for.
luvmySS Posted June 27, 2003 Report Posted June 27, 2003 Speaking of fonts does anyone, by chance, have a copy of the new SS font? Or the one they used for the Silverado on the tailgate?
BenKey Posted June 27, 2003 Report Posted June 27, 2003 Hard to see the picture, but I think it's the same. Billet hitch cover -Ben
Lee Posted June 27, 2003 Report Posted June 27, 2003 Wow. Those boys need to spend a little money and hire a photographer.
creaker Posted June 27, 2003 Report Posted June 27, 2003 Wow. Those boys need to spend a little money and hire a photographer. I've seen shots with a Mamiya 645AF that looked beautiful on the slide - and then turn to crud when scanned in and posted on the web. People go all out on step 1 and forget to carry through with the rest of it. As bad as those pics are, I've seen a lot worse. Is it just me or do many of the auto websites have this problem? Another favorite of mine, at least on the web, is the infamous static picture. The picture has a hyperlink that you think will show a larger version but in fact just shows the same picture again. Yahoo-seller websites are notorious for this (because the folks are too lazy to put two versions of the picture online).
BenKey Posted June 27, 2003 Report Posted June 27, 2003 You had to go and get him all riled didn't you?
stvejay Posted July 2, 2003 Report Posted July 2, 2003 Has anyone ordered the SS billet hitch cover and if so, how does it look. The picture on their web sight looks bad. stvejay
