While on topic, what bat you guys swing?

I use the Miken Freak 34/26. My other is the Demarini B52 34/28.

I think they both got some pop, but the "hottest" bat had to be the Ultra. That thing made little men look like studs!!

i never could get into the synergy. As for being a whore it depends on how often you play. my buddy has about 25 bats and cant hit to save his life, thinks its the bats which is why he has so many.

I was playing about 4 days a week, now thats a whore. Im down to at least 1 game in during the week, possibly 2, and a tourney every other week. We started in March and go to October. Its fun when you win and are sponsered :D

Right now my game bat is a Freak Plus, but I also carry a TPS Catalyst and Combat B1 in my bag. I got the B1 as a demo and have not used it yet. Evidently they are really hot and are impossible to find right now.

I also still keep my Ultra II in the bag. It comes out for duty during homerun derbys when anything goes.

I had a first batch Synergy for 3 years that would hit bombs no matter where you hit it. The sweetspot was HUGE. Sadly, I finally broke it in half last fall. :tear:

Once T-Ball season (I coach my son's team) is over, I will be playing 3-4 nights a week and 1-2 tourney's a month. The great thing about Texas is you can play about 10 months a year.

are you on a team that travels to nationals and worlds?? I think texas might be in the western side. That would be cool to see you at one of those!!

you play utrip, asa, nsa?

This year we've gone back to utrip from asa, or at least playing more in utrip than any other.

Yea, I play for the Military base team here and we definately travel to Military Worlds, which are in Pensacola, Florida this year. I won Military worlds in 2001 with my old base team (Fort Meade, Maryland)

I pretty much play USSSA exclusively and we play in alot of the tourneys around Texas (Abilene, San Antonio, Dallas) We have already earned a birth to States and Nationals. We should get a birth in the U'Trip "C" worlds in Atlanta but won't know until later in the Summer after Nationals.

Of course I am 35 now, not that old, but I am defiantely slowing down and staying sore longer after a tournament. This year will probably be my last year playing seriously. My kids are 5 and 8 and getting to where they are active in sports. I for one won't ever miss one of their games to go to one of mine. I will stick to the local rec league.

Besides I am moving to Hawaii next summer, travel to the states for softball would be $$$$$$$$$$ expensive $$$$$$$$$

our team should be C as well but the way things work out here in Cali, is everyone sandbags which sucks. You'd like to play up its more fun.

I hear you with the sandbagging. Happens around here all the time too. Pisses me off :banghead:

Yea, I can't wait to go to Hawaii for 3 years. I have played ball there before, back when my ship used to pull in there.
