Did they have to relocate the mufflers?  As in, move them forward so that the 90 degree bend would work?  Or is my C3 that different that this can't be done?

You just need to start at the back and work your way forward. I do not have the stock mufler, I am using shorter (14") Magnaflows. We cut off the original muffler a couple inches in front of the inlet and went from there.

My system is all stainless too!!

I would never do a system like this without an x-pipe ever again. It was terrible without it.

After I added the x-pipe, the system was a little quieter, but the smoothness and balanced flow was very noticable.

I think BigT has Flowmasters, but here is how I did mine. Dual 4" round x 14" long Magnaflows. I added an x-pipe ahead of the muflers after these were taken.
