Dynoing the SS

I have dynoed the SS a few times never had any issues with the transfrer case. The only way you cause damage is if the front wheels have resistance on them, Dynoing the truck on a rear wheel dyno mean there is no reistance except on the rear wheels. I would be more concerned going to a shop that was puzzled on taking the drive shaft out. It takes about 5 min.

I don't understand this reasoning. If there is no drive shaft connecting the front wheels to the transfer case, then why does it matter if there is resistance on the front wheels?
